Except for the dates mentioned above, most in-stock item orders placed before 3PM MST will be processed the same day. Orders received after 3PM MST may be processed the following business day. Orders received on weekends or holidays will be processed the following business day. Products generally ship within 24 hours of processing. Sign Lighting World is not responsible for shipping delays caused by weather or other events beyond its or its shipping company's control. Shipping costs on warranty returns are the responsibility of the customer unless product is DOA and reported to SLW within timeline outlined in these shipping policies. Customer is responsible for checking the contents of all packages for accuracy and damage and must report any discrepancies or damage within 3 days of receipt.
Special Orders require pre-payment in full and are not returnable or refundable.
Returns Policy
- You may return most new, unopened items, within 14 days of delivery for a refund with a 15% restocking fee.
- Restocking fees and freight fees will be applied on any non-defective return items. Sign Lighting World will pay return shipping costs if a return is the result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item).
- Please contact Sign Lighting World to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number within 14 days of receiving the product. No Return or exchange will be accepted without a RMA number.
- Once a RMA request is approved you will be given instructions for merchandise return including an issued RMA number and shipping steps. These steps must be completed within 7 days of receiving an RMA number.
- Customer is responsible for checking the contents of all packages for accuracy and damage and must report any discrepancies or damage within 3 days of receipt.
- Custom made items are not eligible for return.
- Sign Lighting World is not responsible for any labor or material costs related to returns.
- Sign Lighting World reserves the right to refuse credit for any items that have been used, misused or damaged by the customer.
- Additional Fees may apply if the item is not returned in the original packaging.
Return Exceptions:
- We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on the following items:
- Custom and non-stock items.
- Items that have been installed or used.
Message Boards
Message boards are subject to a 25% restocking fee within 30 days. Customer must pay return shipping amount.
Custom ordered message boards are not exchangeable nor refundable.
Warranty Policies – Overview
Sign Lighting World, LLC (SLW) warrants its new, factory certified products and parts against defects in material during the specified manufacturer's warranty period. During this period, SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC will, at its sole option, repair or replace a defective product or part without charge to you. This excludes shipping or installation, field support labor or loss of profit, income or revenue.
Sign Lighting World, LLC ("SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC ") warrants all SLW LED® brand products, including LED modules, LED sign and power supplies, which you have purchased directly from SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC or from SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC authorized distributors to be free from defects in materials under normal use during the manufacturer's warranty period. The customer will process warranty service with SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC’s distributor if they purchased the said products from them.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS NORMAL USAGE ONLY. SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC DOES NOT WARRANT AND IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES CAUSED BY MISUSE, ABUSE, ACCIDENTS, VIRUSES, UNAUTHORIZED SERVICE OR PARTS, OR THE COMBINATION OF SLW LED® BRANDED PRODUCTS WITH OTHER PRODUCTS. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER SOFTWARE OR NON- SLW LED® BRANDED PRODUCTS. THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER PROVIDES ANY WARRANTY APPLICABLE TO SOFTWARE OR NON- SLW LED BRANDED PRODUCTS.
Warranty Policy – LED Business Signs
- LED Signs purchased in the United States and Canada are warranted to be free from defects for a period of one (1) years from the date of their original purchase. Should your LED sign fail within the first year, SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC will replace it, excluding shipping costs.
Warranty Policy – LED Modules
- Most LED modules are warranted to be free from defect for a period of three (5) years from the date of their original purchase unless otherwise stated in description.
- This limited warranty is valid only when the SLW LED® products and SLW LED® brand Power supplies are used together.
- During the warranty period, SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC will repair or replace defective parts with new parts, or, at SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC’s option, serviceable used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance. All exchanged parts and products replaced under this warranty will become the property of SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC.
- This warranty does not apply to any non-SLW LED products that must be removed or replaced due to alleged damage caused by SLW LED products.
Warranty Policy – LED Flex Tube & LED Tube
- SLW LED® flex tube and power supplies are warranted to be free from defect for a period of 2 or 3 years from the date of their original purchase as stated in product descriptions.
- These limited warranties are valid only when SLW LED® brand LED products and SLW LED® brand Power supplies are used together.
- During the warranty period, SLW LED® will repair or replace defective parts with new or, at SLW LED® option, serviceable used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance. All exchanged parts and products replaced under this warranty will become the property of SLW LED®.
- This warranty does not apply to any non-SLW LED® products that must be removed or replaced due to alleged damage caused by SLW LED® products.
- Products rated IP68 waterproof are ratred IP68 when assembled according to instructions in user manual, if not assembled per instructions, warranty may be voided.
Warranty Policy – LED Power Supplies
- SLW LED® and CV series LED drivers (power supplies) are warranted to be free from defect for a period of (3) three years from the date of their original purchase.
- During the warranty period, SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC will repair or replace defective parts with new or, at SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC’s option, serviceable used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance. All exchanged parts and products replaced under this warranty will become the property of SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC.
- This warranty does not apply to any non- SLW LED® products that must be removed or replaced due to alleged damage caused by SLW LED® products.
Warranty Policy – LED Controllers & Dimmers
- HM, CT, and DM series LED controllers and dimmers are warranted to be free from defect for a period of (1) year from the date of their original purchase.
- This limited warranty is valid only when the SLW LED® controller, SLW LED® dimmer and SLW LED® brand power supplies are used together.
- During the warranty period, SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC will repair or replace defective parts with new or, at SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC’s option, serviceable used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance. All exchanged parts and products replaced under this warranty will become the property of SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC.
- This warranty does not apply to any non- SLW LED® products that must be removed or replaced due to alleged damage caused by SLW LED® products.
Warranty Policy – SLW Solar Systems
- SS and MU series SLW Solar Systems are warranted to be free from defect for a period of (1) year from the date of their original purchase.
- This limited warranty is valid only when the SLW Solar System & SLW LED® brand LEDs are used together.
- During the warranty period, SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC will repair or replace defective parts with new or, at SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC’s option, serviceable used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance. All exchanged parts and products replaced under this warranty will become the property of SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC.
- This warranty does not apply to any non-SLW or non- SLW LED® products that must be removed or replaced due to alleged damage caused by SLW products.
Warranty Policy – SLW 6" Brake
- Sign Lighting World warrants the SLW 6" Letter Brake to be free of defects in material and workmanship for (1) one year from date of purchase.
- This warranty does not apply if damage occurs from improper handling or operation, abuse or misuse.
- This warranty does not cover liability for incidental or consequential damages.

Sign Lighting World, LLC - RMA Return Policy
DOA (Dead on Arrival) Products: Customer shall request DOA merchandise to be replaced within 5 days from the date of the original invoice. Customer must request an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number for the DOA product within 5 days from the date of the corresponding issued invoice.
Regular RMA (In-Warranty Products): This provision excludes defects that are caused by customer and/or carrier’s mishandling. The following described products are excluded from repair service, and should not be sent back to SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC for repair as they are deemed not repairable: Products found bent, corroded, deformed, mildewed, broken, rusted; scratched PC board surface or similar conditions. Customer shall email or call with detailed information of defective products and obtain a RMA prior to return. The information should include defective item quantity, model number, problem description and your contact information. RMA authorization will be e-mailed to you with instructions. SLW will not accept any returns without a prior written, properly obtained RMA. Items shipped to SLW without an RMA# on the package will be refused & returned to the shipper. Preparing Products for Return Service
BOX or CARTON When returning a product back to SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC, the product should be boxed and packed in the original packaging to prevent damage in transit. If original packaging is not available, a comparable corrugated box/carton and foam packing should be used to prevent damage to the product during shipping.
SINGLE PACKAGE SHIPPING SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC recommends the use of the original box/carton and foam packing. If the original box/carton is not available, pack in a double walled corrugated box/ carton, which can withstand the weight of the product. For best results contact your carrier for their packing and shipping guidelines.
Shipping Damage
Customer is responsible for insuring returned products. In the event a returned package is damaged in shipping, any claims for loss or damage must be made directly to the carrier by the shipper. SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC will notify the customer within 2-4 business days of any shipping damage to returned product, or of non-SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC product received.
Freight Charges
- SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC and customer will each pay for one-way shipping of depot repair and replacement for products within warranty period.
- Customer will pay round trip shipping charges for any out-of-warranty repairs.
RMA Turn-Around Time
- SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC RMA department will normally retain item 5-10 business days in our facility to process each RMA.
- To ensure a fastest turn-around time, at SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC’s sole option, products shipped back to customers will be identical replacements or replacements of the most similar model as the returned RMA products.
Return For Credit
- Customers may request return of non-defective items for credit ONLY within 3 days of the receipt of the said product from SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC or its authorized distributor.
- Non-stock items will not be accepted for credit.
- All non-defective return for credit items are subject to a 25% restocking fee, and customer must pay all return shipping fees and insurance.
- At the sole discretion of Sign Lighting World, non-defective returns may also be charged for any free shipping that was provided in the initial delivery of the product.
- No expedited shipping charges will be refunded under any circumstances.
- A written RMA number must be issued prior to return of the product and included on the shipping label & with the returned item.
- Special Orders require pre-payment in full & are not returnable nor refundable.
- All items returned for consideration of credit must be in original packaging are subject to thorough inspection for damage or missing items. If product is not in resale condition, credit may be denied. If credit is denied and product is returned to customer, customer must pay all return shipping charges as well.
Out of Warranty
When the product is out of warranty, customer is responsible for all parts, labor and shipping charges. For rates and estimates please contact our service department.
Damages
SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC retains the right to assess all warranty claims and to determine if damages are covered under warranty. In case of a claim that is not covered by warranty, customer will be contacted to determine whether SIGN LIGHTING WORLD, LLC should repair the damage for a fee or whether the product should be returned to customer as received by SIGN LIGHTING WORLD
